Bremgarten is something of a secret surfing centre for the region, with good alternatives to conventional wave-riding. On the Reuss at Bremgarten, two weirs create constant standing waves that attract water sports fans from near and far every summer. The waves on the upper weir are a particular attraction for kayakers.
